Exporting and importing configurations


With the Import-Export feature, you can export rules and workflow configurations from one environment or node, and import them to another environment or node. You can replicate the same rule and workflows across multiple nodes or when you migrate the data from development to production. 

Exporting configurations

  1. From the Node management page, select one or more nodes to export data.
  2. Click Export to initiate the export process.
    The system displays all the available configurations that are available for export.
  3. Select one or more rules and workflows to export.
  4. Click Export.
    The system downloads a compressed file that contains the exported data types.

Importing configurations

Before you begin
Make sure that you have JSON files in the compressed file.

  1. From the Node management page, select one or more nodes to import data.
  2. Click Import to begin the import process.
    The system displays a side menu.

    Note

    The system skips the import operation if the target node already has a workflow or rule with the same name.

  3. Click Attach file.
  4. Locate the compressed file in your system.
  5. Click View Zip to see the data types included in the compressed file.
  6. Select the specific data to import to the selected nodes.
  1. Click Import to apply to the selected nodes.
    The system added the imported configurations to the nodes list.  

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
