Import-export configurations: Introduced this feature to import-export the rules and workflows configurations. With this feature, you can replicate the same rule and workflows across multiple nodes or when you migrate the data from development to production.
Enhanced Meta Sync functionality: Redesigned Meta Sync to synchronize the device and profile data between the edge and core nodes. With the enhanced functionality, data is synchronized accurately and consistently across different systems.
Enhanced Metering feature: Enhanced functionality to provide more accurate and detailed usage data. With this redesigned feature, users can understand their resource consumption better.
Enhanced error handling: Improved error-handling mechanism to provide informative and actionable error messages. With this enhancement, you can identify and resolve issues.

Core-node communication through NATS (Neural Autonomic Transport System): Introduced NATS for secure and efficient communication between core and edge nodes.
Authentication of inbound calls into the Operational Technology (OT) network: Implemented authentication mechanisms to ensure inbound communications security in the OT network.
Data aggregation enhancements from edge to core:
- Added the ability to adjust the downsampling frequency at the profile level for optimized data transmission.
- Enabled specification of aggregation methods per metric level for flexible data processing.
- Provided the option to turn on/off sampling at the node level for debugging and real-time data analysis.
EdgeX v3 upgrade:
- Upgraded EdgeX to version 3 for enhanced functionality and compatibility.
- Adapted to Angular v17 for improved user experience.
New example for writing complex rules: Added comprehensive documentation with examples for writing complex rules in the OT domain.
Metering dashboard for license entitlement: Introduced metering dashboard to track the usage of license entitlements from various sources, such as Edge Nodes, Machine Learning Modules, and Contextual Data Ingestion APIs.
Support for customer certificates: Added support for customer certificates to enhance security and customization.

Edge data ingestion: Ingest edge data by using industry-standard Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) protocols and connectors supported by the EdgeX community.
Edge device configuration and actuation: Manage device configurations and run commands directly from the BMC Helix Edge environment on edge devices.
Edge asset remediation: Remediate Edge assets based on predefined rules or Machine Learning inference by using a comprehensive workflow engine integrated into BMC Helix Edge.
Inference @Edge: Deploy extensible MLOps framework at the edge enabling users to select algorithms and metrics for training and train models using AI Foundation in BMC Helix Platform, followed by deployment to edge nodes.
