Upgrading core services

Upgrade all core services to the new tag by restarting and upgrading and making sure that your system is running at peak performance.

To upgrade core services

  1. Navigate to the deployment hedge core.
  2. (Optional) If the deploy.sh script does not have execution permission, grant the permission by using the following command:

    chmod +x deploy.shNP< UserName!
  3. Update the VERSION file in the core deployment directory with a tag.
    For example, enter RC-beta-1.
  4. Perform one of the following steps:

    • To upgrade all services on a new tag, run the command:

      ./deploy <namespace name> -restart

The system restarts or upgrades the processes for all core services to the new tag.

    • To upgrade a specific service or services on a core, run the following command:

      ./deploy <namespace name> -services <service1> <service2>

The system restarts or upgrades the processes for specific services or services on a core.
