Managing user profiles

You manage the system's settings, preferences, and information with user profiles. This feature is a central hub to customize the user experience, ensuring that the environment caters to your needs.

Through your user profile, you can:

  • Set your default landing page or customize the homepage layout, ensuring that relevant information is easily accessible on login.
  • Log out of your account directly from the user profile interface.

To change the default home page

You can see the default landing page when you log in if assigned to the user profile. 

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the page and select User Profile > Change homepage.
  2. In the Change homepage panel, select a new home page from the Select your new homepage list.
  3. Click Set homepage to save your selection.

To log out from BMC Helix Edge

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the page and select User Profile > Sign out.
  2. Confirm the logout if prompted.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
