Monitoring service health

One key aspect of managing BMC Helix Edge is ensuring the health of its services. You can perform real-time monitoring of the health status of these services. Hashicorp Consul provides insights into whether the BMC Helix Edge node and core are functioning as expected or encountering issues by continuously checking the status of their services.

The service health monitoring includes various checks and indicators that assess the performance and reliability of individual services. Hashicorp Consul reports on any deviations from the expected state, enabling you to take corrective actions when problems arise.

Use this procedure for service health monitoring of the BMC Helix Edge node and core using an example service of core-command.
