25.3.01
Improved user experience with the latest fine-tuned AI model
The latest fine-tuned AI model, HelixGPT-v7, is available for BMC Helix AIOps. Administrators can deploy it in their environment to benefit from the enhanced user experience and performance improvements offered by the model.
For more information, see Upgrading to the latest AI model.
Collaborate by using the Ops Swarmer agent to help resolve situations
Operators or site reliability engineers (SREs) can use the Ops Swarmer agent with Microsoft Teams to obtain details about situations and the incidents and changes related to situations. By asking questions in the Teams chat, operators or SREs can investigate a situation, get a root cause summary, details of the impacted CIs, and a step-by-step action plan to resolve the situation without accessing the BMC Helix AIOps console.
For more information, see Collaborating by using Microsoft Teams to help resolve situations.
(Controlled availability customers only) Service predictions for dynamically-added health indicators
In addition to the static health indicators, BMC Helix AIOps generates predictions for health indicators that are added through dynamic configuration, expanding the scope of service forecasting.
For more information, see Adding health indicators.
Agentic AI capabilities in BMC Helix AIOps
Learn about the agentic AI capabilities available in BMC Helix AIOps that help operators or SREs get a natural language summary of a situation, identify the root cause, get a step-by-step plan to resolve it, and reduce the mean-time-to-resolve (MTTR) issues.
For more information, see Agentic AI capabilities in BMC Helix AIOps.
Documentation available for ServiceOps use cases
ServiceOps is the combination of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM). It unifies people, processes, and technology platforms that are highly interdependent. ServiceOps improves user experience and service delivery through real-time visibility, automation, and intelligent collaboration across siloed ITSM and ITOM teams.
The ServiceOps documentation provides information about the concepts and use cases to help you optimize your ServiceOps experience. For more information, see ServiceOps overview.

(Controlled availability customers only) Identify issues impacting multiple services by using multi-service situations
BMC Helix AIOps correlates events across topologically connected services to form an ML-based situation. When multiple services share infrastructure (like a database, network switch, or router), an issue in that shared component can trigger events in all connected services. Instead of forming a separate situation for each service, BMC Helix AIOps uses AI/ML to create a single multiservice situation, which captures the full scope of the impact and highlights the shared root cause.
This enhancement increases visibility into service dependencies and enables faster root cause identification in complex, interconnected environments. For more information, see Investigating ML-based situations that impact multiple services.
(Controlled availability customers only) Support for Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) topology with service modeling
BMC Helix AIOps detects and correlates events across services based on the discovered Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) connections. When routers or services are connected through BGP and share related events (for example, BGP session issues), BMC Helix AIOps automatically groups them into a single situation, which enables faster root cause analysis and reduces incident response time. With visibility into networks using BGP, situations can correlate events at the network layer, which helps in correct root cause identification. For more information, see Situations overview.
Generate service predictions based on baselines defined in alarm policies
BMC Helix AIOps considers baselines defined in the alarm policies to generate predictions. Predictions are generated based on the availability of historical baseline data, violations across all baseline types (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly), and significant metric deviations (in Sigma).
For more information, see Monitoring service predictions.
Assign and update vulnerability categories from the BMC Helix AIOps console
Vulnerability managers can assign and update categories for vulnerabilities directly from the BMC Helix AIOps console. This enhancement enables them to assign the vulnerabilities to the appropriate remediation team quickly from the console, thereby improving remediation efficiency.
For more information, see the following topics:
View service risk data in a heatmap view or tile view
As a vulnerability manager, use the Services risk heatmap or tile view to get a real-time overview of how vulnerabilities impact your services. The heatmap view offers an intuitive, color-coded layout for easy visual assessment of risk levels, while the tile view presents data in an organized format for quick scanning and sorting by risk severity. Both views help you quickly identify and prioritize critical services for remediation.
For more information, see Monitoring service risk.
Update the status of assets impacted by a vulnerability from the BMC Helix AIOps console
Update the status of impacted assets directly from the UI to reduce false positives, minimize vulnerability noise, and manage exceptions.
With this enhancement, you can concentrate on the vulnerabilities that affect critical assets, present a realistic SLA status, and streamline the remediation process, making it more efficient and transparent for both Security and IT teams.
For more information, see Investigating vulnerabilities.
Create custom dashboards by using HelixGPT Insight Finder
Turn natural language prompts into real-time, actionable dashboards for monitoring your infrastructure by using HelixGPT Insight Finder, an AI agent in BMC Helix Dashboards. BMC HelixGPT Insight Finder offers an intuitive conversational interface, streamlines the dashboard creation process, and enhances efficiency by eliminating the need for SQL expertise.
For more information, see Analyzing data with BMC Helix Dashboards.
