Performing situation actions

As an operator or site reliability engineer (SRE), you perform actions to resolve the situation either by assigning it to the appropriate team member or performing remediation steps to resolve the events and the situation.

Some actions are available depending on the role or permissions assigned to you in BMC Helix AIOps.

To perform situation actions

On the Situations page, click the action menu to perform actions based on your requirements. You can also perform these actions when you are investigating a situation.

  • All events that are a part of the situation are closed and no new events are correlated as the event correlation time window (default 15 minutes) has passed.
