Accessing diagnostics data from the Session Overview
In BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring, query results in the Session Overview plug-in gives you insight into individual user sessions, pages and objects that these sessions contain, and they enable you to find and analyze problems quickly. You can drill down to sessions from parts of the system. Perform the following procedure to access BMC Application Diagnostics data for specific transactions from the Session Overview.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have completed the following tasks:
- Configured BMC Application Diagnostics on the BMC Application Performance Management Console
- Integrated BMC Application Diagnostics with BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring
To access diagnostics data from the Session Overview
- Log on to the BMC Application Performance Management Console.
- In the Object Overview section of the Session Overview window, click the View trace details button.
The BMC Application Diagnostics Trace Details window opens. BMC Application Diagnostics tracks only container objects. For such objects, the icon by the Trace Data link is blue. No other components of the page have a trace associated with them. A page has only one object with a trace ID.
