Installing the BMC Application Performance Management Console

This section is intended for customers who are deploying BMC Application Diagnostics as a stand-alone product for analyzing diagnostics.

The BMC Application Performance Management Console is the browser-based, main user interface for analyzing diagnostics with BMC Application Diagnostics. If you are deploying BMC Application Diagnostics as a stand-alone product, you must first install the BMC Application Performance Management Console.

The VM administrator deploys the component instance and configures the instance. These tasks are handled in a web-based setup wizard.

When the deployment and initial configuration steps are complete, the VM administrator communicates logon credentials to the product owner and hands over control.
