Installing the BMC Application Diagnostics Server

This section provides instruction about installing the BMC Application Diagnostics Server with a graphical interface or in silent mode.

Perform the following procedures to install the BMC Application Diagnostics Server:

1. Ensure that you have completed all preinstallation tasks.
2. Install the BMC Application Diagnostics Server using one of the following methods:
   • Installation wizard
   • Silent mode
3. Change the MySQL root password.
4. Verify the BMC Application Diagnostics Server installation.

You can add a server component to an existing installation.
