Configuring the Portal on the BMC Application Performance Management Console


After you log on to the BMC Application Performance Management Console for the first time, configure the BMC Application Diagnostics Portal address so that the Console can display the transaction and trace data.

Note

This step is required for on-premises users, or for service providers who want to monitor their own system.

For service providers who want to configure tenants, see Configuring-tenants-for-BMC-Application-Diagnostics.

To perform this procedure, you must have Administrator-level access, or higher.

Use the following procedure to configure the Portal address:

  1. In the BMC Application Performance Management Console, from the System Access tab, click Diagnostics Configuration > System Configuration.
  2. In the Portal Address panel, click the arrow in the upper-right corner and select Edit.
  3. Enter the Portal connection information.

  4. Click Save.
