Setting a collector policy as active

The active policy file is used by all BMC Application Diagnostics Collectors. Only one policy can be active at a time.

To set a collector policy file as the active policy

  1. From the Diagnostics tab, select Administration > Collector Policies.
     The Collector Policies screen is displayed.
  2. For the selected policy file, from the arrow menu option in the far-right column, select Set as Active.
  3. In the confirmation message, click OK.
     The selected policy file is now the active policy.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
