Deleting an Agent Policy file
You can delete policy files that are no longer in use. If a policy is applied to an Agent and then you delete the policy, the Agents are automatically associated with the default policy.
You cannot delete the following types of policy files:
- Built-in policy with a lock icon

- Policy that is set as the default policy
To delete a policy file
- From the Diagnostics tab, select Administration > Agent Policies.
- On the Agent Policies window, from the arrow menu in the far-right column of the policy you want to delete, select Delete.
- In the confirmation message, click OK.
The policy file is deleted. Agents that were associated with the deleted policy now use the default policy.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
