Accessing diagnostics data from the Real User Analyzer Session Browser


In BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring, the Real User Analyzer Session Browser page displays a list of sessions that match a query criteria. You can drill down to sessions or pages from parts of the system. Perform the following procedure to access BMC Application Diagnostics data for specific transactions from the Session Browser.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following tasks:

To access diagnostics data from the Real User Analyzer Session Browser

  1. Log on to the Real User Analyzer.
  2. Click the Session Browser tab.
  3. Select a query or create a custom query to view a session snapshot.
     The results display the sessions or pages relevant to your query.
  4. Drill down, if necessary, to the Session Browser's Single Session view and Single Page view.

    If a details icon ico_rua_details.png is displayed in the Application Visibility column, then trace details are available in BMC Application Diagnostics for the specific transaction. If the icon is absent, then trace details are not available.

    For relevant transactions, the details icon is also displayed in the Details areas of the Single Page view and Object Details view.
  5. Click the details icon to view the application-level data in BMC Application Diagnostics.
