Adding a server component
You can add BMC Application Diagnostics Server components to an existing installation. For example, you can run the BMC Application Diagnostics Server Installer again to add collectors. The BMC Application Diagnostics environment requires one portal, and one or more collectors.
- Install a BMC Application Diagnostics Portal or Collector with the installation wizard or as a silent installation.
- Change the MySQL root password.
- Verify that the component installations are successful.
