Logging on to BMC Application Performance Management Console for the first time

Perform the following procedure to log on to the BMC Application Performance Management Console for the first time.

1. In the address bar of a web browser, type the URL of the BMC Application Performance Management Console, for example 192.0.2.10.
2. In the User Name and Password boxes, type the credentials for the Security user, and click Log on.
3. Read the EULA and click Accept.
4. Click the user name in the top left corner of the screen.
   
   The User settings page opens.
5. On the Action menu, click Change password.
   
6. In the Current password box, type changeme.
7. In the New password and Confirm new password boxes, type your new password, and click Save.
