Configuring the portal on the BMC Application Performance Management Console: version 2.1.01

After you log on to the BMC Application Performance Management Console for the first time, configure the BMC Application Diagnostics Portal address so that the Console can display the transaction and trace data.

To perform this procedure, you must have Administrator-level access, or higher.

To configure the portal address, perform the following steps:

1. In the BMC Application Performance Management Console, from the System Access tab, click Diagnostics Configuration > System Configuration.
2. In the Portal Address panel, click the arrow in the upper-right corner and select Edit.

3. Enter the portal connection information.

   Option	Description
   Protocol	Connection protocol that reflects the security level set during BMC Application Diagnostics Portal installation (HTTP or HTTPS)
   Host Name / IP Address	Host name or IP address of the portal computer
   Port	Portal port

4. Click Save.
