Deleting a collector policy file

You can delete policy files that are no longer in use.

You cannot delete the following types of policy files:

• Built-in Default policy with a lock icon
• Active policy

To delete a policy that is currently active, you must first activate another policy, and then delete the policy.

To delete a policy file

1. From the Diagnostics tab, select Administration > Collector Policies.
    The Collector Policies page is displayed.
2. For the policy you want to delete, from the arrow menu in the far-right column, select Delete.
3. In the confirmation message, click OK.
    The policy file is deleted.
