Analyzing application server diagnostics

The Application Servers window displays aggregation statistics for application servers where agents are installed.

By default, the Application Servers window displays transactions that have occurred in the last 15 minutes. Data is displayed for online and offline servers. If a server was unavailable during the defined time, not available (N/A) is displayed in most of the columns.

To analyze application server diagnostics

Perform the following steps to pinpoint the transaction diagnostics you want to analyze:

  1. Filter the application servers to a defined time period.
  2. Review the captured instances for transactions on a selected application server.
  3. (Optional) Access business transactions specific to the selected application server within the defined time.
  4. Review the diagnostics data for a specific transaction instance.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
