Adding a BMC Application Diagnostics Server component

You can add BMC Application Diagnostics Server components to an existing installation. For example, if only one component is installed, you can run the BMC Application Diagnostics Server Installer again to add the other component.

• To add a BMC Application Diagnostics Portal or Collector in interactive mode, follow the procedure described in Installing the BMC Application Diagnostics Server by using the graphical interface

• To add a BMC Application Diagnostics Portal or Collector in silent mode, follow the procedure described in Installing the BMC Application Diagnostics Server in silent mode. 

  Note

  When you install only the BMC Application Diagnostics Portal or Collector, only the relevant configuration pages are displayed.

• To verify that the component installations were successful, follow the procedure described in Verifying-BMC-Application-Diagnostics-Server-installation.
