Changing settings for BMC Application Diagnostics Agent for .NET

You can change the settings for BMC Application Diagnostics Agent for .NET in the agent.properties file located in <InstallationDirectory>\properties.

After making changes directly to this files, you must restart the Agent.

Updating Agent parameters

The following parameters can be updated.

• Portal host / IP and port to which the Agent will connect: 

  
  portal.connection.http.port=
  portal.connection.ip=

• Application server name to display in the BMC Application Performance Management console: 

  host.display.name=

• Application name to display in the application server: 

  application.display.name=

• Proxy server host and port for outbound connections: 

  
  outbound.http.connection.proxy.host=

• Keystore path and password: 

  key.store.file.name=
  trust.store.file.name=
