Deleting an Agent policy file


You can delete policy files that are no longer in use. If a policy is applied to an Agent and then you delete the policy, the Agents are automatically associated with the default policy.

You cannot delete the following types of policy files:

  • Built-in Default policy with a lock icon ico_lock_readonly.png
  • Policy that is set as the default policy

To delete a policy file

  1. From the Diagnostics tab, select Administration > Agent Policies.
     The Agent Policies page is displayed.
  2. For the policy you want to delete, from the arrow menu in the far-right column, select Delete.
  3. In the confirmation message, click OK.
     The policy file is deleted.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
