Changing BMC Application Diagnostics Agent settings
You can change the BMC Application Diagnostics Agent settings in the portal.connection file located in the following directories:
- For Windows
<InstallationDirectory>\ADOPsInstall__1_2\properties
- For Linux
<InstallationDirectory>/ADOPsInstall__1_2/properties
After making changes directly to the the portal.connection file, restart the Agent.
Updating Agent parameters
The following parameters can be updated.
Portal host / IP and port to which the Agent will connect:
portal.connection.port=
portal.connection.ip=
Application server name to display in the BMC Application Performance Management console:
host.display.name
Application name to display in the application server:
application.display.name
Proxy server host and port for outbound connections (HTTP / HTTPS / SOCKS):
outbound.http.connection.proxy.host=
outbound.http.connection.proxy.port=
outbound.https.connection.proxy.port=
outbound.https.connection.proxy.host=
outbound.socks.connection.proxy.host=
outbound.socks.connection.proxy.port=
Keystore path and password:
key.store.file.name=
trust.store.file.name=
key.store.password.enc=
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
