Setting General parameters

Click the General tab and perform the following steps to set general parameters:

  1. Select a Transfer Mode:
    • Transfer on event - allows for better computer performance and more efficient network traffic. The event can triggered by either of the following:
    • Alert - as defined per recorded operation.
    • Process end - the recorded application is exited or crashes.
    • Whenever the Black Box is closed.
    • Continuous transfer - allows for real-time monitoring from the AppSight Console. This type of transfer requires a good network connection.
  2. Change the Buffer Size to accommodate your transfer mode.
  3. Set the Maximum number of sessions.
  4. Set the Maximum session file size.
  5. Set SMTP Server and email addresses of alert-initiated notifications.
