Switching a Black Box to standalone mode

You can turn a connected Black Box into standalone mode by disconnecting it from a BMC AppSight Server.

To switch a Black Box to standalone mode:

From the BMC AppSight Black Box window's File menu or toolbar method:

Select Disconnect from Server.

Or

Click the BMC AppSight Black Box's Connect/Disconnect toolbar button.

Or

Right-click the active Black Box icon displayed in the Windows Status pane, and select Disconnect from Server from the popup menu.

A BMC AppSight Black Box window is displayed, and the Black Box is now in standalone mode.
