Operating a Black Box in standalone mode

Black Boxes in standalone mode record application executions on remote computers that don't have a fixed connection to a BMC AppSight Server.

Operating a Black Box in standalone mode involves:

  • Installing the Black Box.
  • Recording with the Black Box in standalone mode and sending the log to BMC AppSight Server (or to the relevant Support personnel).
