Detecting and viewing connected AppSight Servers

You can display all AppSight Servers running in your network, and then connect to them.

To detect AppSight Servers from the AppSight System console:

  1. Click the Detect AppSight Servers toolbar button or select Detect AppSight Servers from the File menu. A list of all AppSight Servers running in your network appears in your AppSight System console's Black Box pane.
  2. To connect to the required AppSight Server, select it in the Black Box pane, and click the Connect to an AppSight Server toolbar button.

To detect AppSight Servers from the AppSight Code console:

In the Connect to dialog box, click the Browse button.

A list of all AppSight Servers running in your network appears in the Select pane of the Connect to dialog box.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
