Validating the network settings

Before proceeding to the installation phase, validate the network settings by performing the following steps.

To validate the network settings:

  1. On the AppSight Console computer, check the connectivity to the AppSight Server computer.
  2. On the AppSight Server computer, check the connectivity to the Windows Server computer.
  3. On the Windows Server computer, perform the following tests:
    1. Check for connectivity to the AppSight Server computer.
    2. Make sure that the AppSight Server's computer and port can be reached from the Windows Server computer.
       You are now ready to install AppSight for Windows and .NET.
