Running the FLEXIm License Server

After you install the License Server, ensure that the FLEXlm License Manager service is running.

To check that the License Manager has started, open your Windows operating system Administrative Tools Services window and check the status of this service.

Note

The location of the Services window depends on your operating system. Consult your System Administrator for additional details.


The License Server computer needs to be accessible to all the computers that require a license check out. You may view license details using the LMTools application provided with the BMC AppSight License Server.
