Saving logs
You can save the recording session information generated by a Black Box for future analysis.
You can receive the visual log, system performance data, and all the Execution Log and code-specific information in a single file with an .asl extension. This section covers the following tasks:
- Saving multiple session into a single log - allows you to record various processes that occurred across multiple Client and Server machines. You can replay and analyze these logs, for example, to follow Web page transactions across different Web Client and Server machines. See Saving multiple sessions to a log.
- Saving a log as a text file - allows for opening the log in any Text editor or Spreadsheet program. See Saving a log as a text file.
- Password protecting the log. See Password protecting and commenting to a log.
