Launching the XML Viewer

You can view XML data in an XML viewer launched from the Details tab in the Filter and Details pane of the AppSight System console. This is mainly used for Web Services parameters.

To view XML information in the XML Viewer from the Details tab pane:

  1. Select the required event in the Log pane.
  2. Choose the Details tab, then right-click the appropriate message line, and select Open XML Viewer. The XML Viewer window is displayed.
  3. Open the appropriate node, and select the required item in the left pane. The corresponding XML texts will be highlighted in the right pane of the XML Viewer window.
  4. To close the XML Viewer, click the Cancel command button.

You can also view XML messages in the XML Viewer accessed from the Connections tab pane.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
