Starting with basic problem analysis
Analyze user problems by viewing the Visual Log. As the Visual Log displays a visual recording of the user's actions, it allows for tracking the erroneous action. In addition, the Visual Log helps in locating operations and problems within the log file.
To analyze a user's problem:
- Open the log.
- Play the Visual Log. See Playing the Visual Log for further information.
- Follow GUI Operations by either:
- Playing the Visual log with the Jump to Next GUI Operation button.
- Filtering the log to display only GUI Operations and then walk through the log.
- Identify the problem.
- Rewind the Visual Log if necessary and play again.
