Monitoring consoles


After you set up the monitoring solution, you can use the following consoles to view and track the metrics, events, and logs across different applications.

By utilizing the data from events and logs, you can proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact your business.

Log in to BMC Helix Portal and go to BMC Helix Service Monitoring to view the overall health of BMC Helix IT Operations Management:

Perform the following steps to view metrics on dashboards:

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Portal and go to BMC Helix Dashboards.
  2. At the top left corner, click the hamburger icon and select Dashboards.

  3. Go to the BMC-Self-Monitoring folder.

    A list of dashboards are displayed:

  4. Select a dashboard to view it.
    Example:

Perform the following steps to view event logs:

  1. Log on to BMC Helix Operations Management.
  2. From the Monitoring menu, select Events.

Perform the following steps to view logs:

  1. Log on to BMC Helix Log Analytics.
  2. Go to the Explorer tab.
  3. Select the required filter, such as, date range.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
