Licensing example – How managed assets map to Resource Units
The following diagram shows a customer’s IT infrastructure and product usage. Their estate is a mix of servers (3), routers (2) and containers (6). Aligning this to the unit of measure, it would equate to 6 Resource Units. This customer could manage 3 more network devices and 4 more containers without requiring an additional license.
