Viewing logs and log events

After configuring the logs and alert policies, use the instructions in this topic to view the logs and log events.

To view logs

  1. Log on to BMC Helix Log Analytics.
  2. Go to the Explorer tab.
  3. Select the required filter, such as, date range.
    Example:

To view log events

  1. Log on to BMC Helix Operations Management.
  2. From the Monitoring menu, select Events.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
