Downloading the deployment manager

Download the deployment manager and the token to access container images from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site.

To download the deployment manager and token

  1. Log in to EPD by using your Support user ID and password.
You might be prompted to complete the Export Compliance Form.
If you are accessing this site for the first time, create a new EPD profile to specify the languages and platforms that you want to download. For assistance with EPD, see EPD site help.

  2. Download the following installation files to the workspace directory:
    • BMC Helix OnPrem Container v24.2.00
    • BMC Helix Operations Management OnPrem v24.2.00 Utilities for Linux
      Or
BMC Helix Operations Management OnPrem v24.2.00 Utilities for Windows
    • Checksum SHA256 for BMC Helix OnPrem Container v24.2.00
    • Checksum SHA256 for BMC Helix Operations Management OnPrem v24.2.00 Utilities

We recommend that you install the products or components from a local copy of the installation image and not from a network drive. Installing from a network drive can cause delays in completing the installation.
