Using the tctl utility

As a tenant administrator, you can use the tctl utility to perform day-to-day administrative tasks on all tenants in your system. Download the tctl utility from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site. For more information, see Downloading-and-configuring-the-tctl-utility.

Scenario

Tina is a tenant administrator at Apex Global. Her company has decided to purchase the BMC Helix IT Operations Management solution for monitoring their infrastructure system. As a tenant administrator, Tina needs to onboard the Apex Global tenant and register all the services that the company will use. How does Tina do that?

Tina uses the tctl utility to onboard the tenant for Apex Global and to perform other operations on their services.

With this utility, you can use the command line interface to perform the following tasks:
