Viewing storage pools


The total number of storage pools associated with a storage device is displayed on the Storage System page. Click the link corresponding to Storage Pools to view the Storage Pool List page. Click a row to view the corresponding Storage Pool page. The following screen illustrates a typical example of the Storage Pool page:

The Storage Pool page may display the following:

Field name

Details

Pool ID

The ID of the storage pool.

Type

The type of the storage pool; for example, Parity Group.

Name

The name of the storage pool; for example, Parity Group 1.0.

RAID Level

The RAID level configured for this pool; for example, RAID6(6D+2P)

Capacity

The usable capacity of the pool.  

Consumed Capacity

The consumed capacity of the pool.

Percentage Consumed

The consumed capacity of the pool expressed as a percentage.

Available Capacity

The remaining capacity available.

Subscribed Capacity

The subscribed capacity of the pool expressed as a percentage.

Percentage Subscribed

The consumed capacity of the pool expressed as a percentage.

Oversubscribed Capacity

The oversubscribed capacity.

Oversubscription warning

Whether an oversubscription warning is active.

Storage System

The storage system for this pool. This is a link to the corresponding Storage System page.

Storage Volumes

The volumes for the storage system. This is a link to the corresponding Storage Volume page.
