Deployment

A deployment object in BMC Helix Discovery represents a group of one or more elements that are deployed together. For example, an AWS CloudFormation stack.

To view a deployment

  1. From the main menu, select Explore > Data.
  2.  In the Cloud & Container Orchestration section, click Deployments.

  3. Select a deployment from the list.
    The following screenshot displays the details of the selected deployment.

    The information fields for a typical deployment are described in the following table:

    Field name

    Details

    Name

    Name of the deployment.

    Type

    Type of deployment.

    Trigger Count

    Count of trigger.

    Cloud Service

    Cloud service that this deployment is part of.

    Software Instances

    Software instances that are part of this deployment.

    Virtual Machines

    Virtual machines that are part of this deployment.

    Load Balancers

    Load Balancers that are part of this deployment.

    Storage Volumes

    Storage volumes that are part of this collection.

    Maintaining Pattern

    Pattern that is maintaining this collection.
