Information
Important This documentation space contains information about the SaaS version of BMC Helix Discovery. If you are using the on-premises version of BMC Helix Discovery, see BMC Helix Discovery 25.2 (On-Premises).

Using BMC Helix Developer Tools

BMC Helix Developer Tools uses Fluentd-based connectors that can host multiple integrations such as TrueSight Operations Management and facilitates data collection and consumption from the integrated products. It enables you to build custom integrations for the third-party products for which an out-of-the-box integration is not available, and to collect logs from files by using Fluentd.

BMC Helix Discovery customers can use BMC Helix Developer Tools to bring in resource information, topology, and services from third-party data sources.

As part of their license entitlement, BMC Helix Discovery users are able to use BMC Helix Developer Tools. If you access BMC Helix Discovery through BMC Helix Portal, you will be able to access BMC Helix Developer Tools without any further action. If you access BMC Helix Discovery directly, you should raise a service request.
