Product Content TKU 2021-Aug-1

Technology Knowledge Update TKU 2021-Aug-1 contains the following additional product content for the BMC Discovery 12.0, 20.08 and 21.05 series.

Product content updates require appliance restart

This TKU release contains product content additions. When product content is added, the appliance is restarted as part of the update. You are given the opportunity to prevent the restart, though if you do so, none of the knowledge content will be installed.

The following feature were updated or introduced in Product Content 2021-Aug-1:

CLOUD: a unique id ("cloud_id" attribute) has been added to AWS patterns to store the "arn". For details, see (DRDC1-17037).

HOST: Add privilege for /usr/sbin/virtinfo -ap command in Solaris script. For details, see (DRDC1-17166).
CLOUD: Fixed an ECAError during Google cloud platform scan. For details, see (DRDC1-17132).
NETWORK: Fixed a ECA error in the lldp.eca module (Network Topology). For details, see (DRDC1-17134).
STORAGE: Incorrect identification of Extreme switch as EMC RecoverPoint. For details, see (DRDC1-17145).
STORAGE: Fixed a RuleError on rule link_remote_to_export_storagesysgroup_on_create. For details, see (DRDC1-17214).
STORAGE: rule: link_remote_to_export_storagesysgroup_on_confirmed updated to prevent an ECA Error a remote FS has no remote_fs_name. For details see (DRUD1-32763).
STORAGE: Fixed: The File System linkage rules failed to account for a REMOTE File System which lacks all remote_* attributes. For details see DRUD1-33135).
