BMC Discovery Extended Data Pack 2021-September-1 is a deliverable for BMC Discovery 12.0, 20.08 (12.1), and 21.05 series.

Note

The Extended Data Pack TKU June 2021 release now attempts to add two SupportDetail nodes to each NetworkDevice and StorageDevice node, one for the device model itself and one for the firmware OS contained within.

The Extended Data Pack TKU October 2019 release now attempts to include provenance URLs with each SupportDetail node and displays these, together with the failure reason messages, in the Discovery UI.

Customers can access this Extended Data Pack from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution Website. If you're a customer or partner and do not already have a login please contact your BMC account manager.

Reasons

Within Discovery, you may find a failure reason attribute attached to a Support Detail node which describes the current state of the Support Detail node with regard to its missing End Of Life data:
