Network Device, Printer and SNMP Managed Device Definitions - TKU 2018-Jun-1

BMC Discovery Technology Knowledge Update TKU 2018-Jun-1 for BMC Discovery 11.0, 11.1, 11.2 and 11.3 series includes updates to the Network Device Integration Module and associated Network Device, Printer and SNMP Managed Device definition files, enabling customers to obtain network device support in between the releases of BMC Discovery. It also embeds the OS Classifier definition files.

Starting from TKU 2018 June release IBM DataPower Service Detail Node will be created for IBM DataPower devices (DRDC1-5288). For BMC Discovery v11.2+ list of IBM DataPower Services will be obtained by means of SNMP or REST API queries. For previous versions of BMC Discovery - only SNMP requests will be available. Please also note that domain name attribute of IBM DataPower Service Detail Node will be available only for BMC Discovery v11.2+ and will be discovered only via REST API.

Compatibility

Network Device Integration Module delivered in BMC Atrium Discovery Technology Knowledge Update TKU 2018-Jun-1 is compatible with BMC Discovery version 11.0 and later.
