Product Content TKU 2018-Feb-ADDM-11.3

Technology Knowledge Update TKU 2018-Feb-ADDM-11.3 contains the following additional product content for the BMC Discovery 11.3 and 11.2 series:

Product content updates require appliance restart

When product content is added, the appliance is restarted as part of the update. You are given the opportunity to prevent the restart, though if you do so, none of the knowledge content will be installed.

Feature updates

New Microsoft Azure regulatory domains were introduced for current release (DRDC1-10932/DRDC1-10933,DRDC1-10940).

Full support of NetApp 9 via Data ONTAP REST API is added for 2018-Feb-ADDM-11.3 release. (DRDC1-10321)

The following additional defects were resolved in Product Content 2018-Feb-ADDM-11.3:

Changes to discovery commands

The following TPL function has been enhanced to enable you to discover Nimble storage devices using their REST APIs:

discovery.restfulGet – performs a GET request on the target using the RESTful protocol specified and returns a node containing information on the discovered system. An enhancement to the discovery.restfulGet function which was introduced in TPL 1.11/BMC Discovery 11.0.

Model changes

The following changes have been made to the taxonomy:

A new virtual attribute was added to NetworkDevice, SNMPManagedDevice and StorageDevice nodes (DRDC1-10528).
