Product Content TKU 2018-Dec-1

BMC Discovery Technology Knowledge Update 2018-Dec-1 contains the following additional product content for the BMC Discovery 11.3 and 11.2 series:

Product content updates require appliance restart

When product content is added, the appliance is restarted as part of the update. You are given the opportunity to prevent the restart, though if you do so, none of the knowledge content will be installed.

Feature updates

  • CyberArk integration now properly supports the Windows Domain Users information (DRUD1-24319)
  • New LoadBalancer linkage is now supported.(DRDC1-10979)
  • New attribute HostContainer.ram is now discovered by AIXSystem_p_Consolidation pattern. CMDB mapping was also updated accordingly. (DRDC1-11953)

  • Added the eu-north-1 region for AWS Cloud Provider. (DRDC1-12370)

Other defects

The following additional defects were resolved in Product Content 2018-Dec-1:

  • DynamoDB database nodes are not synchronized to the CMDB. (DRDC1-12326)
  • CloudDatabase pattern should be for 11.2 and above.

Changes to discovery commands

Discovery commands are unchanged in Product Content 2018-Dec-1.

Model changes

Taxonomy was updated to support new LoadBalancer linkage. (DRDC1-10979)
