Product Content TKU 2018-Aug-1

BMC Discovery Technology Knowledge Update 2018-Aug-1 contains the following additional product content for the BMC Discovery 11.3 and 11.2 series:

Product content updates require appliance restart

When product content is added, the appliance is restarted as part of the update. You are given the opportunity to prevent the restart, though if you do so, none of the knowledge content will be installed.

Feature updates

  • Added support for Azure Redis Cache. (DRDC1-10288)
    More information about Microsoft Azure Discovery can be found here.
  • CyberArk integration for Windows discovery to use Domain field to capture the domain name. (DRUD1-23704)
    The domain name has to be set into the CyberArk Windows credentials using the LogonDomain attribute whose friendly name into CyberArk credential UI is "Logon To".

Other defects

The following additional defects were resolved in Product Content 2018-Aug-1:

  • AWS: Many useful AWS tags are filtered out. (DRDC1-11550)

Changes to discovery commands

No changes have been made to the discovery commands in this TKU release.

Model changes

No  model changes have been introduced in this TKU release.
