Using the management APIs

The usage of the management APIs generally follows this path:

  • GET the current state of the feature
  • Edit the returned JSON to reflect the state of the feature that you require

The following tasks can be carried out by using the management APIs:

The workflow Authenticating-with-the-Outpost-REST-API is more complex as it uses both the Outpost and the Discovery instance or appliance.
