SessionLog node

Session logs are available on the appliance where Session Logging was enabled in the scan used to discover the host. Session log nodes are available for hosts scanned from BMC Discovery Outposts, or directly from the appliance.

SessionLog Lifecycle

The following section describes the scenarios in which a SessionLog node is created or destroyed. DDD nodes are never updated.

Creation

Whenever BMC Discovery scans an IP address, a session log is created when a host is scanned where session logging was enabled in the scan used to discover the host.

Removal

A SessionLog node is removed when the Discovery Access node which it is associated with has been destroyed through the Aging process.
