Stop using tw_ds_offline_compact

BMC Software has noticed that the tw_ds_offline_compact command-line tool has changed its behavior due to an unexpected change in an underlying third-party tool, which the vendor did not document. Using the tool could lead to data loss. The issue occurs in BMC Discovery version 20.08.00 (12.1.0.0) and subsequent versions.

You are strongly advised against using tw_ds_offline_compact. BMC Software will delete the faulty tw_ds_offline_compact script in the upcoming Operating System Update (OSU).

The newer tool

tw_ds_compact
, which supersedes tw_ds_offline_compact, does not have this issue, and you can use it safely.
