Obsoletes

Simple obsoletes statements take the following form:

*obsoletes* _module_name_ [, _module_name_ ...];

 

Obsoletes the named module or modules. An obsoleted module is automatically deactivated.

For example:

*obsoletes* _module1_, _module2_, _module3_;

Multiple obsoletes statements are permitted.

*obsoletes* _module1_;
*obsoletes* _module2_, _module3_;

It is not an error to obsolete a module that does not exist.

 

 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
